The real silver clad proofs were only produced from 1971 to 1974 and were minted to honor war hero and two-term United States President Dwight D. Eisenhower. Look closely at the design, and you see the initials FG...for Frank Gasparro, the coin's designer and U.S. Mint chief engraver at the time...on the truncation of the bust and below the eagle's tail. Only the early Proof strike Eisenhower dollars contain 40% pure silver.  Don't miss out!

    This is one very nice 1971 S Eisenhower silver dollar proof i have anouther one i bought from anouther company that doesnt even come close to the one i bought from you the case had small pcs. Of thread or like hairs in it or the felt. This one i bought from you was perfect. The coin is free of spots and the case was nice and clean no scratched on the case the coin is beutiful im thinking about buying the other years of the Eisenhower silver Dollars proofs if you have them in stock. Thank you for a very nice product. I will buy more. Thanks for the information i recieved from Preston. A great salesman

    Nice coin but the case is very scuffed and scratched. Hard to enjoy the coin in the cases condition.
