2026 American Silver Eagle – 1 oz .999 Fine Silver
The 2026 American Silver Eagle is the newest release in the United States Mint’s long-running bullion series. Struck in one troy ounce of .999 fine silver, it continues a program that began in 1986 and remains a cornerstone of modern U.S. coinage.
Design
The obverse features Adolph A. Weinman’s classic Walking Liberty design, originally introduced in 1916 on the half dollar. It depicts Liberty striding toward the rising sun, draped in the American flag.
The reverse displays the heraldic eagle design introduced in 2021, showing a bald eagle approaching a landing with an oak branch in its talons. The updated reverse added enhanced security features and sharper detail.
