New Orleans Morgan Silver Dollar (Extremely Fine)

$79.00

A TRUE RELIC FROM THE "OLD SOUTH" The collectible "O" mint Morgans were minted at the historic New Orleans Mint. During the Civil War, this mint was actually taken over by the Confederate States of America and was used to mint half-dollar coins for the Confederacy. After Reconstruction it was reopened as a branch mint for the United States. From 1879 until 1904 the primary coin minted there was the Morgan Silver Dollar. If you collect U.S. Silver Dollars this coin is a "must have" for your collection.
